web api for erc20 payments

Hey Guys,

I am a newbie (as you can see) and wanted to ask yo veterans for some info

Could anyone post some references to creating an api or a plugin for any website to receive custom token payments online
Have no clue what to start with so if anyone is able to lead me thru this forest of ethereum I would mucho mucho appreciate it

Info like creating your own wallet would be great references too I guess cuz the functions for transfering goin to be pretti much the same (hope soo...)
