Y-Splitter safe or fire hazard?
My PSU has only 4 VGA PCI-E sockets (EVGA 850W G2). I need to use 2 Y splitters to make 6 connections. Safe?
PSU supply is sufficient for total power draw. Just concerned with amperage as I have no clue. The cards on one of the split cables will be 85W and 100W (after power limit reductions). I will use 8 pin to 6+2pin splitters. I have powered risers.
