@boysie How do you accomplish to get over 2600 Mhs on dcr? I only get 600 mhs -.- . Also I have the problem that for both of my cards the maximum mem speed is 1025 mhz, otherwise the hashrate drops about 5-6 mhs.
You... hadn't realized you could have just... used vm_fragment_size=9 with the amdgpu module on any semi-recent kernel and have had it fixed weeks ago?
GPU Workload A new toggle in Radeon Settings that can be found under the "Gaming", "Global Settings" options. This toggle will allow you to switch optimization between graphics or compute workloads on select Radeon RX 500 and Radeon RX 400 series graphics products.

Radeon Wattman may fail to apply user adjusted voltage values on certain configurations.
the last release was a bag of spanners when it came to undervolting. So I have very low hopes for this release but please let us know if the powerplay table will work with it!
Vega+17.10.2+registry powerplaytable=code43 ...and big NO about patcher. Looks like driver developers are actively trying to restrict VEGA's mining performance by any means.
I just installed 17.10.3 on Windows and my rate improved to 43.5 Mh/s from 37 on 17.10.1. This is for a Vega 56 flashed to a Vega 64. ....
That's very promising! I am actually going to try getting these working in a version of ethos this week, I'll follow some of the hints above re kernel flags and see how I go, will report back here otherwise I might have to resort to windoze!
Oh, did you have to do the powerplay table mods to get it undervolting? That's really important for a long term success as you wan't these things to use as little voltage as possible to keep them as cool as possible otherwise they get very hot over longer running times.
hi guys, i have a very nooby question.one of my cards is faulty (hash rate goes 0 and makes the whole rig hang and crash) and i know its GPU #2 in claymore...how do i know which one of the 6 it is (which pcie slot)? as they are in different order.

Linux blockchain driver is here!
Nothing else Wolfie.
Good to know that was common knowledge though, what threads is all this stuff on Linux setup in for future reference?
I cant make this work with the block chain driver, my card gets very hot

My monero 160 W
One rig couldn't handle voltage so low so I've upped it to 900 and it's stable.
Thanks

On a side note, any idea how to get memory error info on the vegas? The latest HWiNFO64 has pretty limited data compared to the RX480's.
