Most probably because "Polaris" is for polaris cards.. a.k.a RX models..

I tried playing with hex editor, this is best i managed so far.
I think this is great results, and the max you can get from a 380 these days. I'm not 100% sure about this, but i think the DAG size increase affects these 4G tonga cards.

Cant say about that for sure but with 2.31gb dag file i dont think they are. My card crashes after 30 sec or so on anything above 1625mhz on memory, but i managed to get some readings with 1750 on memory and it gives ~24.5Mh/s so if your lucky and get great memory overclocker card you can push nice hash with tonga. If i manage to get 14-14-18-18-54-16-88 timings on 1425 and 1500 stripes and have it stable at around 1600mhz i think even my cars could push up to 24Mh/s but i still didnt figure out how those stripes are written. Mine and most of other R9 380x have this timings on elpida chips Memory Timings (Elpida) tRCDW-tRCDWA-tRCDR-tRCDRA-tRC-tCL-tRFC 200 MHz: 0-3-2-3-7-6-12 400 MHz: 0-3-5-5-15-7-25 800 MHz: 5-5-11-11-31-11-51 1425 MHz: 16-16-21-21-57-18-92 1500 MHz: 17-17-22-22-60-19-97 1750 MHz: 21-21-26-26-70-21-113 I found powercolor r9 380x with this timings Memory Timings (Elpida) tRCDW-tRCDWA-tRCDR-tRCDRA-tRC-tCL-tRFC 200 MHz: 0-3-2-3-7-6-12 400 MHz: 0-3-5-5-15-7-25 800 MHz: 5-5-11-11-31-11-51 1000 MHz: 9-9-14-14-39-14-64 1250 MHz: 13-13-18-18-50-16-81 1375 MHz: 15-15-20-20-55-18-89 1425 MHz: 16-16-21-21-57-18-92 1500 MHz: 17-17-22-22-60-19-97 1625 MHz: 19-19-24-24-65-20-105 1750 MHz: 21-21-26-26-70-21-113 2000 MHz: 24-24-29-29-79-26-129
I hoped just copying 1250 or 1375 timing stripes from powercolor bios into 1425 and 1500 stripes in my bios would work but all trys, even just flashing powercolor bios on my card ended up in windows startup loop.

How are you friend? What is the biosmod that you mounted to the R9 380 to put on the 25 mh / s in ETH?
