Starting this thread due to the gpu shortage. So post anything related here!
I do have some questions myself.
Has anyone been able to find AMD cards recently?
If not, what types of NVIDIA cards are you using are what are their benchmarks?

I have had luck finding NVIDIA cards in google shopping for reasonable prices. new 1060s 6GB for $259 and new 1070's for $389.

Hashrate wise I Overclock just the memory to +750 on the 1060s and +850 on the 1070. keep my temp as priority metric so they never get hotter than 73c but the power is set to only 82% so they unusually run at 68c anyway hashrates below.

    GTX 1060 6GB = 22.5 MHs
    GTX 1070 8GB = 30.5-31.7 MHs

The 1060s seem much more consistent in their hashrate. Should be noted the 1070 is also my display care so that may be affecting my hashrate.

I've been able to find AMD cards, but you've gotta be sneaky and quick about it (knowing a programming language or two definitely helps here).

Got 4x RX580 today and will get 6 more on monday. Having friends working at a wholesaler has some benefits ;) (btw: I'm selling 4 of them)
    My first Rig:
    - 6x EVGA GTX 1060 SC @ ~23,5 MH/s @ <700W from the Wall (850W PSU)

I remember walking into Fry's Electronics in Sacramento, CA a couple years ago to buy a new video card, there were so many options and fully stocked with each one. I bought an r9 290 because it was than the NVidia 970 and very similar in performance. I could probably sell that card now for more than I paid for it. But it gives me 25MH/s so I think I'll hang onto it.

I found some 1060's the other day for 259 as well.. I went to pull the trigger just a couple hours ago and they are now unavailable.. What site have you found them on if you dont mind me asking?
