    Into BIOS
    Settings>Advanced>PCI subsystem Setting
    PEG 0 and PEG 1 set to Gen1

    Hi,

    I have the exact same problem. Up to 5 RX 480, it’s all good, but when I try to add the 6th one, does’t work.

    With 6 cards, it boots the first time, but when the driver installation process is completed in Windows, it work work anymore.

    In modo settings, I have :

    PEG0 -> Gen 2
    PEG1 -> Gen 2
    PEG2 -> Auto (I’ve tried Gen 2, same result)

    CPU PCI Lane Config -> x8/x4/x4
    PCI Latency Timer : 96

    HD Audio Controler : Disabled
    HPET : Disabled

    Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
    Thanks !

    @mhhia4 : did you solve your problem ?

    Try : Gen 2, Gen 1, Gen 1. If you have dynamic power link, enable it. Disable Onboard Audio and all Intel crap if any.

    How many virtual memory you setup in Windows?

    try changing latency to 32, friend of mine was able to run 7 580s only after changing latency to 32.

    update the MB bios

    Thanks for all your advice.

    I've tried all the above (Gen Setup, disabled all audio / intel crap), changed latency to 32...
    MB bios is up to date. Virtual Memory in windows : 8704 MB

    Sadly nothing works... 5 cards -> OK ; 6 cards Windows won't boot (PC reboots all the time) or the same screen as in the picture above.

    I'll keep trying and will post if I find the solution !

    Ok... found some people having the same issue on bitcointalk. It's a driver issue.
    I had the last divers, but it's not good.

    Switched to 16.9.2, works !

    in my post on this forum, i've described that i ran into the same problem (ATTEMPTED_EXECUTE_OF_NOEXECUTE_MEMORY). For me, installing the driver with one card and then plug all cards in solved it. Putting them into the system one by one didn't work.

    I was running into the same issue when trying to setup my RX580 rig. First 5 cards - fine. 6th - ATTEMPTED EXECUTE OF NOEXECUTE MEMORY.

    I've left all the settings mentioned in the previous comments as default and it works fine, which is to be expected since this error points to a driver issue.

    Solution:
    1. Plug all 6+ cards in and start.
    2. Turn off 4G decoding in BIOS. Windows should load but show issues on all but 2 cards in the Device Manager.
    3. Set 16GB (16384MB) of virtual memory.
    4. Install the 17.6.2 Crimson driver. 16.x.x reportedly works but 17.4.4 does not. Newer drivers MIGHT work as well. Do not reboot.
    5. If you have edited your BIOS, run the atikmdag-patcher and patch your driver before rebooting.
    6. Reboot and enable 4G decoding.
    7. Boot into windows, grab a beer and start mining.

    Did I save your sanity? I like beer as well :smile: ETH: 0xb7ED80C1eEB60f3Fc4a91E0C9865c4B77D6a0401
