Hi!
I'm brand new to ethOS/Linux and I'm looking for a list of commands that are useful.
For the moment I'm trying to install driver for my graphic cards and need to stop the X server.

or stopping the login manager: (if gdm and this command is available)
gdm-stop
or stop the login manager service:
service gdm stop
anyway with ethOS, you shouldn't install drivers, (ethos could break when using apt/dpkg), the whole purpose of it is the mining basesetup
there's ethos-upgrade or something similiarly named command to upgrade for newer versions which probably has your wanted driver
I'll look into that. I think I have the newest ethOS, but my cards still didn't work.

Running Win10 now, but it's not working properly after a stupid Windows update. Had forgotten to turn of auto-update....
