@Wolf0 I considered my nanopool stats. Share diff is 5000, each gpu has a share in every 6 minutes in average. So if a single gpu got 3 incorrect in an our, then its even more like 30%.
It would be useful if claymore counted also valid shares for every card individually, but you can divide the total by the number of gpus anyway.
6 cards - 840W from wall on corsair rm1000x - 176 mhs. I will see if it is stable and post some more
How did you run 6 cards on a RM1000x??? It only has 6 PCIE ports, and one of those you would have to use to power the CPU. Did you use some double molex to PCI-E adapter? If you did, I pray your house doesn't burn down..
Hi all I recently got some cheap cards for mining - Sapphire Nitro+ with 4GB of Elpida memory which was originally clocked at 1750MHz.
As Polaris Editor doesn't work with Elpida cards, i started fiddling around with the Hexeditor and managed to copy the 1500MHz memory timing straps to the higher ones. it flashed with no problems - command line: > atiwinflash -f -p 0 almarley.rom
My test card was first running smoothly @ 29+MH/s while drawing only 77 Watts over the PCIe lines while clocking @ 1145/2050MHz with WattTool. Funny thing is, that after a few hours it even speeded up to 34MH/s all by itself!! idk how that happened? Any ideas?? Unfortunately Claymore was then also throwing "incorrect shares due to overclocking" messages
Feel free to test my BIOS at your own risk. All modding was done with switch on "silent mode" (towards the connector plate).
My card has PN: 299-2E347-100SA MD5 of my rom is: 1f9e665e790df58349786a7db641ffb9 for checking I'm on Win10x64 with Crimson-16.10.1 drivers. No further patching needed.

However after flashing there is yellow mark in device manager in Windows and note that device has been stopped. Since I'm linux user this was not too much of problem for me, however mining in Linux ethos 1.1.2 works and mining rate is around 24 Mhs which is about 15% more than with stock rom. MIning in ethos with stock bios on this card is around 21 MHs.

Is it possible to increase memory speed on this card from 1700 Mhz to 2200 ?
...However after flashing there is yellow mark in device manager... ...Is it possible to increase memory speed on this card from 1700 Mhz to 2200 ?
I would doubt it. That would mean overclocking by more than 25%. They wouldn't sell the card with 1750Mhz if memory was so stable at these frequencies.
No yellow marks seen in my windows.

btw: this forum wouldn't accept my original nickname "almarley" at registration. so i got mad and put in some random sh#t
Hey everyone! So I've tried to flash my VBIOS with this rom and I go through ATIwinflash and it says it flashes, but after it finishes in the box that pops up with new and old BIOS info it has all the old info and in the new BIOS info areas its just blank and my cards haven't changed their speeds at all. They're still running stock speeds. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!
I made another rom with 1425MHz straps bc my 2nd card wouldn't go really fast with the 1500 ones. With this it scratches the 30MH/s mark - zero rejections almarley1425.rom: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AhVnWzjB8iG4lXu-X9f-x0CNNj4m

Either bad download or some fool didn't change the checksum, which would cause that.
@CMYmpga1MNknu9bL8keG Thanks! I used your previous bios and Watttool settings and things looked great! I will try this one and see if this one rocks even more.

First of all thanks for your ROMs! I get 29+Mh/s with both of your ROMs (Claymore's) except 1425 gives invalid shares. So no 30+ Mh/s for me.. Bad chip?
my settings: 1145mhz core, 2000mhz memory, 0.875v for both - stable

Did you touch GPU Voltage in your bios mod ? I got 5 sapphire 480 4GB on Elpida memory and only 1 card is stable with your almarley1500.rom and its maximum stable memory clock is 1900MHz , Four other cards with almarley1500.rom can work only on default memory clock 1750MHz Now I am trying/testing almarley1625.rom but it seems to be the same problem

Hi, I have 2 nitro+ with elpidia, your 1500 vbios works great with them thanks a lot! I went a little further with it (setting mem to 2000, 950mV and core to 1150,900mV by default) for now rock stable 29Mh ETH / 625 dcr for about 12 hours, 0 reject. thanks planning to use the cards on my linux box
I have a sapphire 480 4gb nitro with elpida.. it is nitro and not nitro+.. anyone test this on a regular nitro to see if it works?
any luck so far? i have the same GPU, im still reading to try it by myself (make my own bios) if you have anything to share please let me know! Ty
I too have the non nitro version with Elpida. In all my reading so far I haven't been able to parse wether or not things like this work interchangebly between the Nitro and Nitro+ versions.
I'm going to try the 1500 memory straps this weekend, but does anyone know if I can use the clock settings that @aposhtol used? I haven't messed with my votlages at all yet so I don't know....
"my settings: 1145mhz core, 2000mhz memory, 0.875v for both - stable"
This is all using the above bios - almarley1500-1150-2000-900-950.zip
and using wattman and adjusted the Memclock to 2050 and reduced the memclock mV to 900.
Have been testing it for 12 hours now and works great... Now just want to change the following on the bios itself:
mem clock - 2050 mem mV - 900
But I have no idea how to do it in a Hex Editor?
Would really like to do it and try it in my EthOS rig.
Those are some great looking numbers. Are you saying that you don't know how to do it in Polaris? Because if your numbers work for me tonight I will probably make a ROM out of it

Did anyone ever try this on the RX480 Nitro without +?

So @CMYmpga1MNknu9bL8keG calculate your incorrect rate, i am curious.
thank You for Your ROM.

After playing with all of your bios's , I have found the ideal settings for these ELBIDA 4GB Sapphire Nitro + Cards.
