something is definitely going wrong with the pool my reported hashrate was around 355 and for the last 5 hours my effective hashrate has been bouncing 280-310 i have moved to another pool and have no problems and payout is way up please fix this as im sure once its fixed the payout here will still be better than the other pool
There's a note on the main page with this message: "Because of the ongoing DOS attack on the Ethereum network some payout transactions remain unconfirmed. We will re-send all unconfirmed transactions once the issue has been resolved."
Hey @dr_pra - Is the pool still running on the Parity client, or did you switch back to Geth? Just wondering as it seems the hash rates were below spec while running Parity, but my rigs are screaming now, and just wondering if it was an issue with the Parity client (which was corrected by switching back to Geth) or a result of the network attacks that have been ongoing the past week or so?
Hey guys, just curious, why is my current effective hashrate bouncing around like crazy? There is sometimes fluctuations of almost 150MH... whats going on?
There was again an attack on the Ethereum network today which caused parity nodes to drop out of sync. We were able to mitigate the issue quickly but it required some traffic redirection which might explain the issues you have experienced.
That's why i have both parity and geth running on my pool with a script to check if they're in sync or not. If not it'll auto switch to the client that's running sync
these hashrate fluctuations are getting out of control, didnt have this problem a few weeks ago so this is def recent and nothing has changed on my end plus i notic many ppl saying the same thing like above when ur hashing at 500Mh and ur effective drops to 300Mh, thats either one hell of a bad luck streak on the pools end or something is not happening right the peaks and valleys used to balance out but now ur under ur reported hashrate all day with 2 or 3 spikes over this fluctuation has basically killed the profitability this pool had over others this last hour i had 100 shares less than normal, miners didnt stop
@cidmo hashrate fluctuations have nothing to do with pool luck. It is the luck of your miner that influences the number of shares found by it. If your current hashrate goes down your miner simply does not submit sufficient shares compared to your locally reported hashrate.
@buffy we decided to remove the dynamic scaling of the charts to preserve the context of the displayed values. What has that todo with the added twitter timeline?
Dynamic scaling had the problem that lots of miners were complaining about hashrate variations that looked larger than they really were because of the zoomed in chart.
miners had problem... what about parameter in URL, API or some settings for switch on? I really like dynamic scaling. For me one of most important information on website. Same like worker's charts.

so why are the fluctuations getting larger the past 4 weeks even tho nothing has changed on my end? figured the fork would help but since about a week b4 the DDOS attacks when something obviously changed on the pools side and u blame the miner who has been mining on ur pool for months LOL

Thanks.

Could this be the reason?
