Now installing the ethereum client
../go/src/github.com/go-qml/qml/error.go:4: "ERROR: the correct import path is gopkg.in/qml.v1 ... " evaluated but not used
Before continuing please source ~/.bashrc or open a new terminal.
You can now start Ethereal by issuing:
cd $GOPATH/src/github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/ethereal && ethereal
If you rather run without a GUI you can start ethereum by issuing the 'ethereum'
command. More informations on:
ERROR: the correct import path is gopkg.in/qml.v1 ...seems suspicious.
$ go get -u -a github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/etherealTo avoid this "permission denied" error I repeated the whole process as user root. The output of the install script is the same. The manual install outputs:
go install runtime: open /usr/lib/go/pkg/linux_386/runtime.a: permission denied
# go get -u -a github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/etherealWhich is the same error message as the original install script showed.
go/src/github.com/go-qml/qml/error.go:4: "ERROR: the correct import path is gopkg.in/qml.v1 ... " evaluated but not used
