Dwarfpool - time for a change

I've being mining for a couple months now, I have 2 x rigs running at 240 mh , using claymore , is it worth a shot going solo? Or trying another pool to gain a little more ETH per day? Or just stick to dwarfpool?
Suggestions ?

With that hashrate, solo would be suicide.

dwarfpool is one of the lowest paying pools. By mining there you are literally giving away money to the greedy admin who barely pays out rewards.

Almost any other pool pays out better. Ethermine is popular and generally well regarded, I've used it but I personally earn more with miningpoolhub. They pay out ALL rewards, credit for stale shares, and have a load of other features. Plus the admin is pretty prompt with issues.

Please go anywhere but dwarfpool

Ethermine or MiningPoolHub are way better options, both pay out all rewards and their admins are very responsive.

I think coinmine.pl also pays out all rewards like miningpoolhub

I just recently tried dwarfpool for 24 hours because I discovered it had a server in Australia. My experience was that it paid less and the data/stats provided were pretty poor compared to ethpool, where I have been for months, and @work explained to me how my latency wasn't really an issue when you consider the extra rewards paid by ethpool/ethminer balancing it out. So now I'm right back to Ethpool. I have about 220mh/s.

I used it for about 8 months and can't say anything cons. Pros - I have a nice 15ms latency to one of their servers

@patrik2 the con is that they pay less then every other pool. Over those 8 months, you could have earned a nice chunk more.

@patrik2 i earn 20-30% more on MPH than i was earning on dwarfpool, to put it in perspective of how greedy the dwarfpool admin is. I mined on dwarf pool for my first 2 months, never again.

@shutfu Do you have the setup details for claymore / MPH? Checked the MPH site, didn't see claymore listed at miner? Should I go back the ethminer?

@jonoelite I've mined off and on at Dwarfpool over the past year. I'm now currently at Alpereum courtesy of a recommendation from @work and so far Ive been quite happy with them. They are also 0% fees, you should consider checking them out. They've grown by ~50% over the past couple of days.

Oh I think I have to write claymore miner at the list too.

@MrYukonC @miningpoolhub - nope Alpereum is much slower, only getting 1ETH per day, Dwarfpool 1.6ETH per day @236 M/h...

Ive used coinotron and dwarfpool. I dont think dwarfpool is one of the lowest paying, and for the most part it is stable . Coinotron has been stable also. Unless you have serious hashpower I doubt the earnings difference will be all that much +-5%
