  OK, solved. The back up wallet was emailed to me. Also theres a nice post to troubleshoout ether sales here https://blog.ethereum.org/2014/07/23/ether-purchase-troubleshooting/

  @lixujason‌: correct, unless you make a new transaction generating different ethereum address.

  I had the same problem, and the backup wallet hasn't arrived yet in my email.
  What do i do now?

  @5fives‌ , if you are in control of your wallet and your password, you are safe. Remember you can always email [email protected] if you are still in doubt, or have any questions. Cheers!

  Thanks, Stephan! I am in control of my password and email, but i couldn't download the wallet, just like the OP, and the backup didn't arrive in my email.

  Thanks. I did, as soon as you mentioned the address. No response yet.

  How was this eventually resolved for those who had this problem? I had same problem yesterday, a blank screen when attempting to download the wallet, and no wallet via email. But I'm on Safari on a MAC. I also just sent my problem to help desk.

  To update, helpdesk promptly helped me to resolve this. Their advice was "Can you clear your cache and restart the browser and try the process again?"
  When I did this, it worked perfectly, both the wallet download and the emailed backup. Hopefully if others have same problem, this may help.
