I've created a smart contract that stores the pixels of a bitmap image inside of a smart contract: http://etherboard.io
How it works:
- You can buy any unowned pixel for 5 finney or more.
- You can buy an already owned pixel for 110% or more than the price the current owner paid.
- If someone buys your pixel, you get sent 99% of the price they paid for it.
- You can change a pixel you own for 1% of its value.
The contract is a nice visual way to interact with a smart contract, perhaps it's a good way for those learning how to work with smart contracts to interact with the blockchain.
Don't forget that anything you draw on the Etherboard will be permanently stored in the Ethereum blockchain!
Let me know what you think or if you've got any ideas, cheers!
