AMD and Nvidia GPU cards on same PC to mine

Looking for mining software with stratum support that support AMD and Nvidia GPU cards on same PC. For example I want to connect to the following what would be the software and command string?
Pool: -s us2.ethermine.org:4444
Listing OpenCL devices.
FORMAT: [deviceID] deviceName
[0] GeForce GTX 970
CL_DEVICE_TYPE: GPU
CL_DEVICE_GLOBAL_MEM_SIZE: 4294967296
CL_DEVICE_MAX_MEM_ALLOC_SIZE: 1073741824
CL_DEVICE_MAX_WORK_GROUP_SIZE: 1024
[1] Tahiti (its a r9 280x)
CL_DEVICE_TYPE: GPU
CL_DEVICE_GLOBAL_MEM_SIZE: 3221225472
CL_DEVICE_MAX_MEM_ALLOC_SIZE: 2952232028

I have a R9-390 and GTX980-Ti on the same machine. I have tried running Nicehash miner on it to mine only ETH (excludes all the other algo-coins) and the miner basically ran 2 x DOS windows, one window for each card, and pointed the hashes to a proxy server on the same machine. Quite clever this setup and the miner is simple to use. It works .... but if you need more control over functions and features of the miner then this miner is not for you. My preference is mining using AMD based cards for ETH mining, using Claymore Dual Miner or Qtminer.exe (both supports Stratum). I think this "get-work" way of mining using ethminer will not be efficient in the long run.

You should run 2 copies of ethminer (genoil or core variant), one for each GPU.

genoil stops working if I run more than one copy.

You should use the '--dag-dir <folder>' option with one or both miners*.

    Example:

    create folder d:\ethminer
    create folder d:\ethminer\amd
    create folder d:\ethminer\amd\dag
    create folder d:\ethminer\nvidia
    create folder d:\ethminer\nvidia\dag

put a copy of ethminer in d:\ethminer\amd
put a copy of ethminer in d:\ethminer\nvidia

open a command prompt and go to d:\ethminer\amd
    run ethminer.exe --dag-dir .\dag <your other parameters>
it will download the dag-file(s) into the dag folder

repeat for the nvidia card (go to d:\ethminer\nvidia etc...)

    Works fine for me...

    * NOTE: I'm using Genoil's ethminer.

I think you can just use --no-pre-calculate on 2nd, 3rd, etc instances of ethminer, instead of having multiple copies of the dag on disk.
