2x 280 2X 270X @ 73 MH on the right + a Janky mobo/cpu/ram combo I picked up at a local computer repair shop for 20$ with an old 270 stuck in it on the very bottom @ 15 MH
@snorecore sexy as hell! Love that mount job - very nice. Bet you're glad you held onto it instead of liquidating - many called me a fool, but it looks like keeping cards worked out extremely well. Ethash miners use a lot less power then scrypt and other algos, so you'll likely be pleased with less heat/noise.
@Murz hell yes to the milk crate rig. I remember building one of those. The extra fans help much?
@Lagniappe 2x 6 card rigs; mining like a boss. How's the heat on the card on the mobo compared to the ones you have hanging? That blue/red cable combo is hot.
Thanks @work and much respect to you as I've read loads of your posts . Been fucking with ubuntu all day man, wrestling with it. But it's more like mud wrestling a hot chick. You gotta work, but something good might happen.
@dlehenky makes it seem so easy. As does any professional. Thanks again for all your help Dave. and thanks for not snubbing me on those stupid questions.~
@work to answer your question it doesn't get hot like you'd think. However if you put two nanos side by side on a mobo, one will be hot to the touch. I know, because I'm impatient and threw 2 of them in my case to make a total of 8 cards mining . It never cut off, and they will shut off if they get too hot. I ran without my fans up when I first started with two cards and one shut off on me. That same card is working fine now.
Now I just have to solve the air ventilation issue , mount a 220 panel in here, and I'm adding two more rigs. I may not use nanos. They're killing my wallet.
I fluctuate between 298 and 310 mh/s. I don't use cl global work. I'm in louisiana and haven't wired up my a/c circuit yet. These are strictly fan cooled in an outdoor environment. I'm about to wire it in tomorrow. I bought an LG 8000 btu portable ac and it will have its own circuit.
so i am off to buy some shelving rack style for my rig, i noticed some have the motherboards resting on wood, obviously this is to stop short circuiting on the board with the metal, any problems with heat ? would a piece of plastic sheet be better to place the board on, does anyone use offsets like you get in a case ?
Not impressive but it's my outdoor rig! Just put it out there a few days ago, going to put some rain guards up in case have SEVERE STORM, The rain would have to go five foot on the porch though. It's not even mining ethereum, those are 750ti's mining on nicehash.
Assuming you're referring to my outdoor rig. The 2 cards on usb risers are actually ziptied to the repurposed barebone server "base" I use, so they aren't blowing over.

Nice job!

5 nanos on an ASRock Z170 Formula getting ~130 MH/s. Case is a Thermaltake Core X9.
thanks

waiting for my 6th R7 370 to come in
They are not overheating?!
Another pic for a teaser
Groovy. It could sell. Looks similar to "extended" antminer S2 box.
