  Ok, I synced Windows time settings and it seems to work now.

  just in case any one else has a problem with Ethereum-Wallet .. I was too stuck and pulling my hair out on the block syncing .. solved by doing the following from Ethereum-Wallet directory .. mv snapshot_blob.bin snapshot_blob.bin.old
