H is a letter that gets pronounced very differently across many languages, whereas R sounds about the same across every language. If they overheard a conversation, someone from a country that doesnt speak english has a much higher chance of recognizing ETR over recognizing ETH.
ETC Since Ethereum is Turing Complete, we have an Ether Turing Currency, the ETher currency Code is ETC. ETC stand for ETC Turing Currency if you like recursion or ETher Coin, if you prefer that, ETC.
Stand for the ETC you like.
ETC money for all the possibility offer by ethereum.
The ISO 4217 standard with is 2 letters country code and one letter currency is unnatural to follow for crypto currency.
Prefixing abreviation of crypto currency with Y (YBTC, YLTC, YETC, ...) would be far more superior. Where are does Standardization DACs when we need then?
ETHR only because it would Google in it's own territory, and ETH is a public company with bad interior design products which I would never use. As well as the fact that ETH Zurich is a University in Europe and some laymen may consider it connected to banking or Zurich. ETH Zürich is an engineering, science, technology, mathematics and management university in the city of Zürich, Switzerland https://www.google.ca/search?q=stocks&oq=stocks&aqs=chrome..69i57.838j0j1&sourceid=chrome&espv=210&es_sm=91&ie=UTF-8#q=ETH
I realize that considerations of cuteness and sexiness are much more important than adherence to standards in this process, but anybody voting for ET* should keep in mind the the first two letters of a currency normally reflect the country code according to ISO 4217, and "ET" of course stands for Ethiopia, so you will be facing confusion and potential future non-acceptance of international bodies.
Definitely ETH - it's the entire root of the word "ether". Also, "eth", "ethyl", and "ether" have been used for decades in organic chemistry and are very well accepted terms.
I voted XET because X often stands for "eXtensible," which is an important keyword for Ethereum (as far as I understand it, this is my first post here, seems very interesting). How about XETH?

I've voted for ETH, but ETR could be suitable as well. As to XET, it will create confusion more than anything. We don't want confusion.

I like it, sounds good and vether reasons are good: Ether Turing Currency.
I vote ETC
I like ETH, with all due respect to Bob Metcalfe.
