Hi
I tried to put more than 5 gpus, but is not recoginized with ubuntu 14. I testes individual each gpu and all is working.

Something is wrong then.
I'm running 3 rigs, each with 6 GPUs, all on Ubuntu 15.04.
Have been running this way since last Aug/Sept of 2015 without issue.

I use Ubuntu 14.04 with 6 GPU too, and have no problems.
Video driver from standard repo's:
apt-get install fglrx-updates
Maybe you had not correct install GPUs, please check it:
lspci | grep VGA

You can also run 'clinfo' to see what devices are being recognized as OpenCL targets.

was correct, now I have 6 gpu running. I saw 7990 is equal two gpu, thats right?
