GPUs in SEA. Any suggestions?

Hi all,

Im located in Malaysia.

GPUs here are severely overpriced.
RX480 reference = $322
R9 380 2GB = $195
R9 390 = $270
RX470 = $248

Any suggestions on what i should do? Should i buy those GPUs from US?

Have placed an order for 15 ethOS SSDs and some USD PCIE cables from China. Looking to build 15 rigs.

I'm stuck now due to overpriced GPUs... =/

    Those prices are pretty much what you would get here in the states. I just ordered 3 MSI RX 480's 8GB for 279 a piece. I see nothing wrong with the prices you posted. You'll just have to wait a while to find a deal, or bite the bullet.

    I see. I've seen prices at much lower rates online in states so i thought it was overpriced.

    You can wait for a deal and lose mining time or pay a little more to get GPUs in now and start... I'd go with the 480 ref cards now and mod the bios when they arrive. Best bang for your buck imo, taking power, heat and mh/s into consideration.

    If power and cooling isnt an issue id go with 390's

    I'm leaning towards 470's due to price. Why would you recommend 390's?

    You can get 30mh/s from a 390 and they are still available new with warranty in reasonable quantities. Many people are having problems buying the new RX cards because AMD can't keep up with supply. So buying 390s will allow you to mine straight away, whereas you may have to wait for RX 480/470 to become available.

    Since there is limited time left to mine before POS happens, the higher hashrate of a 390 makes sense for that reason too BUT this also depends on how much you pay for power, because 390s will use a lot more power to provide that higher hashrate.
