I was on the Ethereum mining subreddit this morning and someone posted a link to an ebay page showing an asic miner for Ethereum.

From what I have learned over the past few months is that Ethereum can't be mined with an ASIC(unless there's someone really fucking smart out there). I have flagged the page as a scam.

It looks like a box with fans and cables that don't go anywhere. No info regarding hash rate. Nothing.

thanks for your hard work, you are such a valued member of the community. To just go out of your way to bar a users ebay account, that takes a lot of courage. I mean why on earth would you ask the person if they made a mistake writing ASIC in the listing, that would just be silly. From what I can see in the cached pages it does say the hash rate, and it even says it in the title. next time you think something is off you might try to ask the guy first before ebay takes his account down because they suspect that his account has been hacked and delete all the listings. wouldn't that be sensible?

Yeah that would be too clever but I have explained everything to ebay, my account is going back up with all the listings by the way. I will make sure to highlight the hash rate and to explain what ASIC is on the ETHEREUM listing, thanks for that insight into quality assurance.
