I see in https://github.com/ethereum/wiki/wiki/[English]-Serpent-programming-language-operations
that contract cryptographic operations only supports SHA-3. So if I am validating a signed incoming message into a contract (e.g. some data feed), it has to be signed in SHA-3? I wanted to know if there were going to be other algorithms supported. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the draft of final spec. is still open to comments but it seems like 90 day comment period ends this summer. Downside is that libraries in some languages might not yet support SHA-3 especially if for some reason the standard changes before it is 100% finalized and published.
