Hi! We have a meetup scheduled for the central Ohio area now:

No specific agenda yet, so if anyone is interested in attending and has something in particular they would like to cover, let me know. I have a background presentation on decentralization in general that includes a section on Ethereum which I can run through if people are interested.

There is a small but active Bitcoin community in central Ohio, and I'll be attending a Bitcoin meetup next week with the hope of getting some of them interested in Ethereum.

Thanks to everyone for coming out this week for the first Ethereum meetup in Ohio. We ran through a presentation on decentralization and Ethereum, took a look at the POC client, had some great conversations, and got things off to a solid start. I’ve already had seven additional people reach out to me asking about the next meeting just since Wednesday, so I think there’s some real momentum building.

I’ll definitely schedule another meeting, probably for next month, and probably at a new venue where we can have some more space. Keep an eye out for an update soon. If there’s anything in particular you’d like to address at the next meeting, please let me know and I’ll see what I can do!
