Hi. I have 2 sources of power and are interconnected with a cable 24 Pin Main Second Dual PSU. do not start . then connect only 1 power supply and CPU Fan rotates once and turns off and the fan power supply does the same. Any solution? thanks
These are our custom 4U server based GPU hashing rigs. 8 GPUs each (about 170h each), best part is that they are a completely custom solution from hardware/bios/OS etc and have them to under 1000 watts for each system at the wall.
We used these to build out our farm and some partners we work with, and "might" open up sales to public soon
Yep those are three 150 CFM fans that push ALOT of air between the cards, they all run under 70C (plus the cards are optimized to run about 110 watts each so they don't overheat easily).
I have a small and unorganized mining operation compared to many posters here, but I still enjoy every bit of it. My setup consists of four 280x's and one Fury X which gets me about 115 MH/s. However, I'm in the process of fixing my 7970 in the oven (maybe) and an AMD 280 is on the way.
UPDATE: Unfortunately baking my 7970 in the oven didn't fix the artifacting.

Sadly I think 1 of my soldiers is on its last legs. Throwing errors, crashed the machine, raised voltage, no help, temps are fine. 2-3 years of service, I will bury it in a place of honor next to all the great men of history. It's sacrifice will not be forgotten!!!
Edited to add, just looked at the card, noticed some of the connectors that slide into the motherboard were discolored a bit, all of them have some scuffs, but the 1x section appears worse, so I took some fine steel wool and smoothed it out a bit. Let's see if that helps!
Bought a variety of used cards I could find cheaply. The picture shows (LtR) 290 TriX, 280X Twin Frozr, 7970 and a Windforce 280X. I have a 7970 and a 7870 in two other boxes, and two 7970 to be added this week.
Running ubuntu wily, with "standard" ethminer on coinotron. I have made a small script that parses the hashrate from ethminer and publishes it with dweet.io. I then use the coinotron API and dweet.io to build a small status page.

Rig 1 of 2 with 5 MSI R9 390 cards getting about 151 MH ETH and 2274 MH DCR using Claymore's Dualminer. So, is it better to pull or push hot air away from the cards. Right now I have a box fan pulling air away from the rig.
