Windows 7 x64 works well with 4 GPU's But once I install 5th - it starts to show code 43 error in device manager. I googled but failed to find a solution, Is there any known workaround? Thanks!
With windows 7 you cannot mine with more than 4 GPUs with standard ATI driver. You need to modify the driver so all the cards will be good to go in device manager. There was a small program that mods every ati driver - you can google it. Hope that will solve your issue.
@ghost : Also, some MoBo's require additional power to the PCIe bus if you have more than 3 or 4 (I've seen both) GPUs. There's usually a Molex connector on the MoBo that you have to supply power to in order to run the added board(s). I have no idea, obviously, if this applies to you, but I thought I'd mention it.
Hey @ghost ! Can you tell me what motherboard, cpu, power suppy and fan u used? Thanks in advance!

Did that Gigabyte board require a Jumper Wire for the USB to PCIe adapters to get the cards to work? I am using these risers, but no boot when they are plugged into the board.

Win8.1 shouldn't give that kind of error
This app supposedly mods Win to allow more than 4 GPUs
