There seem to be two camps right now: those that would like to use Stack Overflow with the Ethereum tag, and those who would like to use Stack Exchange.

Both have advanced really good arguments for each option. I understand why for example a 'strong' tag on SO give our project credence, while on the other hand, on very own SE allows to break down questions by categories (Solidity, Client issues, etc.).

Ultimately - we decided to not promote one over the other. We'll advertise both links and of course we will continue to operate these forums indefinitely.

I disagree with using the ethereum tag on bitcoin stackexchange. Ethereum is much more than bitcoin can ever be (already) and maybe a joint blockchain stackexchange could satisfy both projects. But to ask about Ethereum, Ether, DApps and so much more this framework offers does not fit into a single tag of a subsite.

Just committed and looking forward for the beta phase.
