allows you to mine ethereum on windows 10 since it was broken on WDDM 2.0 those drivers are WDDM 2.1
before the fix 4MHs after the fix 32+ MHs
as i said i tested it with my gtx 1070 G1
That's awesome.
I'm still on the 347 drivers with my GTX 960 and have to use CUDA 6.5...but I don't think these will do anything for me. I think this would just affect the 10xx series cards?

i dont have a 9 series GPU but i think it will probably work since it wasn't working before on 9xxx series also you need to be on windows build 1607 (anniversary)
hmm , whats your settings , i cant get my 1080 to squeeze more than 22-23Mhz
1080 uses GDDR5 X, it's a different type of memory and doesn't function well for Ethereum (and some other algos) until the developers actually take time to iron things out for the 1080.

I gave it a try but no luck...back to 3mh/s on a 960.
your mining script depends on pool where you plan to mine , usualy something like "ethminer.exe --farm-recheck 200 -S pools_url:pools_port -O username.worker -U --cuda-devices 0 1 ... X (all nvida gpu`s you want to use , if you have just one card , you can skip --cuda-devices)"
yea eth is memory instesive algorithm OC the cpu core does almost nothing but the mem makes all the difference start with 1000 and pump up +100 every time until you see its steady
I am following this topic for quite a while. Did some homework but failed to get my 1070 running with a hashrate. I have CUDA8.0, the latest driver 369.09, Genoil 1.1.7, and also tried to set the bat file following the instructions from a few different pools, but always receive all kinds of errors (failed to connect to..., retry in 3s..., et al). In addition, I didn't see the ethash fold in my users/appdata/local direction.
Is there anything wrong with my internet?? many many many thanks.

Work farming mode:
-F,--farm Put into mining farm mode with the work server at URL (default: http://127.0.0.1:8545)
--farm-retries Number of retries until switch to failover (default: 3)
-S, --stratum Put into stratum mode with the stratum server at host:port
-FS, --failover-stratum Failover stratum server at host:port
-O, --userpass Stratum login credentials
-FO, --failover-userpass Failover stratum login credentials (optional, will use normal credentials when omitted)
--work-timeout reconnect/failover after n seconds of working on the same (stratum) job. Defaults to 180. Don't set lower than max. avg. block time
-SV, --stratum-version Stratum client version. Defaults to 1 (async client). Use 2 to test new synchronous client.
-ES, --ethereum-stratum Use EthereumStratum/1.0.0 mode.
--farm-recheck Leave n ms between checks for changed work (default: 500). When using stratum, use a high value (i.e. 2000) to get more stable hashrate output

try this if you cant mine try ethminer 1.1.6
thanks a lot, fidasx. I have tested 1.1.6, also read the "help" file coming in the zip file. I followed the instruction to make the bat file (from coinotron site, see attached)
I throw in my user name/worker name/code and try both G and U (it's nvidia). Below is a running window:
I never actually got it started. Is there anything else you could suggest? really appreciate your comments.

I downloaded the driver above + the miner.
I am still stuck at 4Mhs with my 1070 gpu.
What am i doing wrong ?
Are you sure you installed windows 10 1607?
I am on version 1511
Used DDU to completely uninstall old drivers.
Windows 10 1607 is installed.
Used the latest drivers posted here and Genoil 1.1.7
Still get 3mh/s on a GTX 960.
Under CUDA6.5 and driver 347.52 I get 10.5mh/s on this same card.
Cuda error in func 'set_constants' at line 143 : invalid device symbol.
