Win 8.1 GTX 980 21Mh 240watt draw total, about 50w overhead overclocked 225 on gpu. GTX 970 x 2 36Mh 200watt draw total about 50w overhead, impressive low power, its also overclocked 190 on gpu.
Total 56mh on 3 cards.
The GTX970 performs well with such low power, looks like more Mh in tweaking the miner for the 980. should be a lot more on the 970 due to low power usage, low gpu mem usage and load.
More mining software refinement would be good, and a stable pool...
Still waiting. I see they were finally launched a couple of days ago. Disappointingly, they just look like an underclocked Fury X for the same price(!??). There's still a duel Fiji in the pipeline but until they optimise the drivers, ethereum can't make much use of all that memory bandwidth.
with the help of Stephan: win7 x64 professional sp1 /// 5*hd7950 (1050/1250) ///8Gb ram+12GB page geth + ethminer 124000000 h/s - max 120000000 h/s - typical
120 MHs / 5 cards --> that would be 24 MHs per single 7950 card . Well, this is very high number. I see others (mostly on Linux) getting approx 14 Mhs per 7950 card. Is there any Windows/Linux trick with ethminer? Which Catalyst drivers (13.x, 14.x, 15.x) are best?

I was asking myself the same, seems like those are overclocked no ? 5*hd7950 (1050/1250)
mine clocks at 850 MHz, dunno if that 1050 is the clock

Not that it will take you to 15MH/s, 12, 13 tops maybe. My guess is the 960 suffers from narrow bus-width.
What driver version do you use to start 6 GPU on windows 7?
14.12 right now.

all not over clocked, a few more mh left on both, we need the miners tuned better.
