3x 390s (I have a 4th but Amazon shipped me the H97M not the H97...I'm short 3 PCIE slots)
Each card is running between 27-30 Mh/s. Having trouble with MSI AB not allowing me to undervolt them and OC them.
Totals: Stock XFX 390s ~88 Mh/s ETH & ~1291 Mh/s DCR via Claymore's Dual Miner.
Some cards have to be undervolted and over clocked with a tweak to the BIOS. Just make sure it's a dual bios card or you might brick it and be unable to recover without some soldering...
6x R9 390 - 31.1 Eth and 545 SIA per card with 1170w for each of two PSUs at the wall. And a big ass fan blowing to help keep temps below 71C and fans below 70%.
6x RX 480 - 26.7 Eth and 400 SIA per card with 1160w total power at the wall. Fan Rpms 3200-3800. All temps 79-80C.
Hi @indytim I have finish bulding also a 6x r9 390 setup. Are your GPU's MSI?
Regarding PSUs I am using 1 EGVA gold 850w + 1 server PSU HP 1300W. Are you also using server PSUs or only certified PSUs?
Also it seems like R9390 is more powerfull that rx 480?

Sorry I didn't respond earlier @drybreeze. I travel a lot, just getting back on top of things at home.
Yes, the R9 390 is more powerful, but not by much - roughly 20-30%? And it uses almost twice as much power.
I really like the EVGA PSUs. I started out with the Platinums - I have a 1000w and a 1200w on the 390 rig. On the RX 480 rigs I'm using the Gold 1300w PSUs. They seem to be about perfect. For the Sapphire reference RX 480s, I'm seeing about 1140w at the wall, with all cards set to 880mv for mempow, and 2200 memclock. I see a consistent 26.7MH with dcred (siacoind) set to 35.

You know how many mhs the custom models will yield?
You know how many mhs the custom models will yield?
I have not spent a lot of time tuning yet, since I just got my Nitro+ rig running, then left for a trip. Right now I'm at a steady 27-27.3, but dual mining with Siacoin set at 35. So for two GPUs that'sasteady 54.3 ish, and roughly 850 MH for SC. Mem volts at 950, memclock at 2200.
The Nitros are much cooler, quieter, and easier to push than the referenceSapphires.

Thanks for answering! How many mhs will yield only by mining ETH?

Hi, I am just wondering if each GPU in average consume 92~W so that's 552~W, in average Mobo uses about 120-150~W. What is the extra power you consume in your rig?
So the new Manufacturer Rx480 cards are amazing, I've got an XFX GTR OC 8GB, it was actually cheaper than what I paid for my reference cards. Uses less power/runs at least 15 degrees cooler.
Sitting on 30.9/31MH/s Eth + 330-340Sia for 140 watts at the wall.
1175 core/2230mem, 920mv on both core and memclock. Ran it at 2240/2250 memclock, wasn't quite as stable, hash rates were bouncing around, will test this overnight and try slightly higher mv to 930/940 to check stability, will be using these for new rigs
Can get the card down to 55 degrees with fans running about 75%, currently sitting at 64 degrees, 41% fan speed.
