Hello everyone, im new here. I have free electricity and want to start mining, can someone recommend what GPU should i start on? I am thinking about 390/390x. How much profit should i get monthly?
Hello, friend. 390 is good, but better buy new 2016 cards (because after one year or more you will decide to sell your used cards, but they steal will be actual and will cost at least 60% of original price when 390 will cost about 30-40%) like 470 4gb (21-23 mh\s), rx 470 8gb (24-27 mh\s), RX 480 4-8gb (25-31mh\s) check the price and choose better for you. In my opinion i think better choise is xfx rs 470 4 gb - i calculated it will give me one megahash for just 8.7$
The Fury can get 32mh but it needs over 100w extra to do that. The 470 won't improve until memory is past 2000mhz until then it actually scores lower but can achieve 24mh at 2050mhz memory.
3x 390s (I have a 4th but Amazon shipped me the H97M not the H97...I'm short 3 PCIE slots)
Each card is running between 27-30 Mh/s. Having trouble with MSI AB not allowing me to undervolt them and OC them.
Totals: Stock XFX 390s ~88 Mh/s ETH & ~1291 Mh/s DCR via Claymore's Dual Miner.
Had the same problem with my order of XFX R9 390's, i sent them back and got replacements as they were all from a faulty batch that had the voltage locked. I did notice they looked slightly different to my other xfx's 390's tho. If you look at the pcb closest to the front if you don't see white writing on it then it's most likely part of that faulty batch.

I'll double check them today. Good to know that little fact though.
But I did resolve my problem! Having Intel's iGPU drivers with AMDs together is a no go. The cards still were able to work @ stock levels, but almost no software could adjust the cards settings/read sensors. After uninstalling Intel drivers and just letting the OS use generic M$ drivers worked for video output.
For good measure I reinstalled AMDs and ta-da! I could now adjust voltages/clocks/fans/ect... and read sensor values.
hello guys What is the alternative for motherboard h81 pro btc Because it not available and I want another one for 6 card or 5 Without problems in operating

@zono i had smirk at your comment. You are A BIT worried ? Its at 92C with 100% fans haha you made me smile.
I guess its an old card might just be in a too bad condition for mining. Or try to undervolt it a bit but doesnt seem that this is the problem if the whole system is at 360W.
@bata88 whats your ambient temp? Does this card supports undervolting with MSI afterburner or do you have to flash bios to achieve that?
26-27C the ambient temp now, the card is 70C. I'm not flashed the bios , this is standard. In afterburner u need unlock voltage control in the settings.

Looking much much better The rig is in another room (lower ambient temp). Undervolting helped a lot.
BTW - any idea why MSI afterburner showing me 0 mV and not like in your case? SOLVED
Miner: Claymore 5.3 6x Reference rx 480 Win 10 x64 Pro AMD driver 16.8.2 948w from the wall (whole system)
186Mh Eth only.
You use in OC , BIOS Mod ?
Does the version Driver, I currently use the version 16.7.3
Mino in Nanopool and use Claymore . I see you use the Ethermine , change 'll see if that . It seems that gives more performance as mine sometimes falls to 21-22mhs having RX 480 8GB

How are you getting 31MH/s ??? If you flashed the bios, how do you do that?

Sorry for my english
480 @ 1000/2250, 27mh
470 @ 1000/1750, 22.5mh
Total 75.5mh 530w/550w at the wall.

It has 7ghz memory, might run 23mhs for 140€ at stock and low consumption

I'm bit worried about temps
Just cleaned heatsink, replaced thermal paste but doesnt seem it helped.
Miner: Claymore 6.3

Also someone mentioned somewhere that you can fix a messed up vbios if you have integrated graphics on your motherboard.
Use afterburner, and try crimson 15.12.
(GPU 1)
whole system 580W
In afterburner u need unlock voltage control in the settings.

Mining on EthOS, core 1000, 1000, and 950.
Total noob, not sure on other settings to boost performance.
