@anonymous95 you will need to find and submit a valid share first. At a combined rate of under 1MH/s that may take a while.

Hi guys. Been mining for about a month with following.

    Windows7 / 64-bit / 2x MSI NVIDIA GTX 970 Gaming Twin Frozr / 0.9.41
    min/mean/max: 33292288/33886480/34166101 H/s
    inner mean: 33991338 H/s

I tried on Win 10 and got about half that!! Shocking!!

These GPU's just run amazingly quiet and cool.
Both at full tilt and only 65degrees C and fans at 40% in a standard gaming tower with stock air cooling.
330W Power consumption for whole system makes them very cost effective solution.

Anyone out there mining with a R9 270X? What hashrate are you currently getting?

    I get 15 MH/s on pool. And you ?
  • anonymous95anonymous95 Member Posts: 248
So r9 270 is doing more than GTX 970?
  • Rich2016Rich2016 Member Posts: 132
    Hey "adaseb"
I got the same speed as you....
    https://ethereumpool.co/stats/miner/index.php?address=0x65e9e4bdbd087cadadb222ea4f4cd1e513c5c7ed

I have paused mining for now beucase I just bought 3x R7 360 2gb sapphire nitro on newegg to do the mining with I hope I can get at least 10 MH/s from each. The specs are not all that far off from the MSI R9 270x 2gb I got so I really hope it stays close on the mining..

If anyone knows how much a R7 360 is going please let me know asap.
    Thank you.

    Windows 8.1 PRO / XFX Radeon R9-290 2GB (stock settings) : 23.5MH (O/C best 27MH)
    Windows 8.1 PRO / XFX Radeon R7-370 2GB (stock settings) : 16.2MH (O/C best 17MH)

I bought 3x R7 360 2gb sapphire I hope to get at least 10mh/s and seeing ur post made me feel a bit better because the specs are about the same the only real difference i see is the 128bits on the 360 and the 256bits on the 370..
    I got a R9 270x and its going at 15mh/s tops
    https://ethereumpool.co/stats/miner/index.php?address=0x65e9e4bdbd087cadadb222ea4f4cd1e513c5c7ed

I hope the R7 360 is close 10 or more would be wonderful I would be able to make back the money spent buying the in one month))

I would say its worth it to buy this card if it goes over 10 or12mh/s and if u can get the rebate for $15 u pay like $84 for the card lol only thing is weather the mining will still be profitable in the future

Let us know what you get. I think it'll be under 10MH as it's about 30% lower spec-wise than a 370. You can get the 370 for around 120+-. Heck you can get a 380 for under $200 nowadays, which gets 22MH+ and you can have more hashes per rig vs the smaller ones.

    Ps. I tested an R7 240 with 2GB and it gets 4.6MH.

    AMD Radeon HD 7990 BEHEMOTH.
46MH/s at stock setting (although reduced v to 1100mv. Uses 500watts at the wall by itself.

I have two of these. Fastest "single" card since it's actually 2 GPUs! Before undervolting they were drawing 900W for just the cards. If I could get another 4 I can get a record 12 GPUs in ONE rig producing almost 300Mh/s. Would definitely need 2 (maybe 3) PSUs!

The problem with these R7 370/R9 270X cards is that they are good value for money but they use up a slot in the motherboard, and take up at least 2 PCIe connectors which can be more useful if a faster card 280X/290 is used instead.
Because the mobo+cpu is at least another $125 and PSU is another $150 depending on size.

And how I can submit a valid share?

Since the 280/280x and below use less than 200watts, you can safely use a pci-e splitter with them and they don't even get warm. However, you need goot splitters, not cheap junk and a good power supply with the primary pci-e cable so they can handle the power properly.

With my EVGA 1300's I used to split the wires on my KNC Titans in the past with each runing 300Watts+ and they barely got warm.

I wish I could get $1000 now lol
will let you all know as soon as i get them the speed they go hoe for the best.

    R9 280X GAMING 3G

Rychlost těžby ETH = 20.5 až 21.1 MHs

    Spotřeba elektřiny:

    Otáčky větráku 1300 ot. / 97C - 25% = 300W až 301W
    Otáčky větráku 2000 ot. / 73C - 50% = 218W až 220W
    Otáčky větráku 2500 ot. / 66C - 75% = 200W až 203W
    Otáčky větráku 2850 ot. / 62C - 100% = 196W až 199W

    ----------------------------------------------------------

    R9 270X GAMING 3G

Rychlost těžby ETH = 13.8 až 15.0 MHs

    Spotřeba elektřiny:

    Otáčky větráku 1300 ot. / 57C - 25% = 123W až 126W
    Otáčky větráku 2100 ot. / 50C - 50% = 121W až 125W
    Otáčky větráku 2600 ot. / 48C - 75% = 121W až 125W
    Otáčky větráku 3000 ot. / 47C - 100% = 123W až 128W

    ----------------------------------------------------------

    R9 290X GAMING 3G

Rychlost těžby ETH = 24.1 až 25.0 MHs

    Spotřeba elektřiny:

    Otáčky větráku 3900 ot. / 71C - 73% = 232W až 236W
    Otáčky větráku 3000 ot. / 82C - 60% = 242W až 245W
    Otáčky větráku 2500 ot. / 92C - 50% = 253W až 258W

    Doporučuji nastavit kartu na 85C a 60% otáčky = 245 až 246W
Otáčky pojedou od 2800 až 3000.

I solo mine and just average the hash rates by eye as they run past me. I actually got it down to only using [email protected]+-

    More testing
    XFX R7-370 basic - 13.6MH
    XFX R7-370 Redline Series (??) - 16.7MH.. Weird..

hd 7990 it consumes 375w as the manufacture claims, why 420w or 500w ?
  • happytreefriendshappytreefriends Member Posts: 537 ✭✭✭
    edited February 2016
They never consume what the manuf. states..

    For example, the R9-390 @ 28.5MH (stock) uses 220watts, rated at 275watts.
    The R7-370 Redline @ 16.7MH (stock) uses 170watts, rated at 110watts.
Measured at the wall with a kill-a-watt meter using an EVGA 80+ Gold Power Supply.

Their ratings are quite different from the manufacturer up and down the range. Might be also some differences between the manufacturing within the models, who knows.

THe HD 7990 is a beast and to keep it cool you need to run the fans pretty much at 100% which probably eats up 50watts right there.

Just began mining with asus sapphire R9 290X TRIX 4G on Win10 Pro

    miner 14:37:48|main Mining on PoWhash #ab122396 : 26520404 H/s = 13631488 hashes / 0.514 s

    Now R9 290X TRIX 8G + R9 290X TRIX 4G on Win10Pro w crossfire

    miner 15:43:09|main Mining : 52835224 H/s = 27262976 hashes / 0.516 s
    miner 15:43:10|main Mining : 52937817 H/s = 27262976 hashes / 0.515 s

Hello guys! Mining with a GTX980 and a R9 280x. The 980 is +150mhz to the coreclock and the 280x is stock.

    980=21Mhash
    280x=22-24Mhash

!HELP! i have just orderd a brandnew 380x and dont know what to expect.

If you did not know the 7970,280x and the new 380x all share the same core. But on the newer models the memory etc. are buffed.

Should i expect the same hashrate on the 380x as the 280x?

    I'm using Win10 with a GTX 960 2GB and get ~9MH/s when benchmarking with the -M command.

But just running ethminer outside benchmark mode (OpenCL or Cuda doesn't matter) only about 4MH/s get reported:

    00:05:17|main Mining on PoWhash #0177ecd2 : 4421079 H/s = 8912896 hashes / 2.016 s

    Any ideas?

You r7 370? what model? I have a gigabyte and only gives 14mhs
  • happytreefriendshappytreefriends Member Posts: 537 ✭✭✭
The XFX R7-370 DoubleDisspitation model (Stock set at 1050/1400MHz).
I also have an XFX R7-370 standard one (Stock set at 995/1400MHz that only gets 13.8MH) Even overclocked to 1050/1500 it only gets 14.5MH.

I'm on Ubuntu 15.10 with GTX 960 2GB. I'm getting around 10Mh/s. Can someone explain to me why my nanopool chart looks something like this? It drops to 0Mh/s a lot. then, comes back. After coming back I get all sorts of weird Mh/s reports from 8.2 all the way to 44Mh/s!
  • lifesAnOceanlifesAnOcean Member Posts: 8
Moments after my screenshot (above) it was reported as 26.4Mh/s. Only 3 minutes ago it was 0Mh/s. Anyone know why?

This is my score with GTX 960 2GB with ethminer 0.9.41-genoil-1.0.3 on Linux Mint 17.3 (nvidia-352 / cuda-7-5) - pool mining. Maybe you have a Win10 specific problem.
