libOpenCL.so.1 error when starting claymore

I'm getting this error when trying to start claymore 10.2. ./ethdcrminer64: error while loading shared libraries: libOpenCL.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I followed crytobadger's guide for my setup. The only thing I did different was I used the 17.50 amdgpu pro drivers instead of the 17.40. I originally went through the setup using the 17.40 driver but claymore gave me a message of "No AMD OPENCL or NVIDIA CUDA GPU found" so I started from scratch and used the 17.50 driver. What can I do to troubleshoot this error? Should the graphics cards be disconnected when the driver is being loaded? My first thought was to reinstall claymore but I'm not sure the proper steps to do so and instead of fubaring this thing again I figured I'd ask the fine people of this forum.
