220+ MH/s ETH mining. GPUs run at 63-65c.

5x EVGA 1070 SC2
2x EVGA 1070 FTW2

12x 120mm Cougar Hydro Dynamic fans
2x 140mm Thermaltake fans
2x Seasonic Prime 850W Titanium PSUs
One dedicated custom-sleeved PCI-E cable to each riser and GPU power connector

1030 Watts at the wall. Under 1k when monitor is not hooked up.



Next week I start a 8x RX 580 build attempt with the same case.

Nice build!! I think you can lower down your power consumption. I got 7 GTX 1070 at 850-860 watt (210mh dual mining sia)

Yeah I agree. It needs more OC tuning.It's under 1k watts when monitor is not hooked but I haven't spent much time with overclock settings on this system. This is based on simple memory overclock to test system stability right after build was done.

If I get enough people interested, I will record a video going over how I modify the Thermaltake case for my next build and put it on YouTube. I have most of the parts ready, just waiting on GPUs to be delivered.

@Bmoney You're pulling 850-850W at the WALL with 7 1070s? Have you measured this using a Kill-A-Watt?

@ecs87 I always measure my rigs with a watt meter before I leave it alone. Last time i restarted that rig was 2 weeks ago.

Hey @CryptoPicker are you still on this forum?

Your build inspired me to give it a try. Got a Core X9 case today and going to try putting (4) GTX 1080 Ti hybrid cards in one. Thinking each radiator will connect to the top. Three cards on the "floor" and one next to the motherboard.

If you ever did a video or posted any more info about your build I'd love to know more. Thanks!
