Do you have a source for this? i search for it and couldn't find anything.

It's more than possible, there are server motherboards available now that can handle 10, 20, even 30 GPUs, but they are way too expensive.

Judging by the fact that a lot of h81 boards are almost sold out everywhere at the moment, they can crank the price as high as they want and people will buy it.

The inconvenience is the AMD driver not support more than 8gpu in windows, but asrock has develop a fix to run 13 gpu.

Guess you could hook up a test plug to your PSU to trick it into being always on. One PSU for the mobo, then one for every 4-5 GPUs.

or one of these


board runing 8 gpu in windows

i think one 1300 with 6 VGA and one 1600 with 9 VGA could power it up but the issue will be with the driver
maybe windows server and driver for servers will make it work
but in other expensive server motherboards that run 18++ gpus have more than 2 processors
1 processor for each 8 cards
