Does the roadmap include pulling out the hll compilers into standalone tools?

I'd like to learn and use lll, serpent, and mutan without needing to install and run separate clients. I wish I could run a single client and install three different compilers as standalone non-interactive commandline tools.

It sounded like the core dev vision is to make cpp-ethereum into an IDE, as well as script frontend. Is this true?
