New To Mining...Is My Hash Low?
I know there are tons of these types of submissions, but after going through a lot of them, they all seem to have their own nuances so I wanted to submit mine and get an experienced opinion. I am getting an average hashrate of 2370000 H/s (2.3MH/s).
System:
Windows 10 64-bit
NVidia Gigabyte GTX 760 4GB
Driver: 378.66
Cuda: 8.0
I've tried multiple graphics driver versions including a very old version 347.52 which others seemed to have had luck with (this makes it worse for me). I know the GTX 760 isn't the best graphics card and I am planning on upgrading to an RX 480 but I don't want to do that if my problem has to do with runninng Windows 10.
My batch file specifies the following:
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
ethminer -G --opencl-platform 1 -F http://ethpool.org/miner/toolazytotypethis/24
I see on www.miningchwcomparison.com that my card should get about 9MH/s...before I upgrade my GPU I want to know if I should be getting this hashrate and if so, is there something I could do to improve my current rate?
