brew install failed

I previously had the go-ethereum client built from source according to the instructions here: (not the one-line version).

Now that I noticed a homebrew install option available, I deleted the old files and tried to reinstall through homebrew:

$ brew install go-ethereum
==> Installing go-ethereum dependency: eth-go
==> Cloning
Updating /Library/Caches/Homebrew/eth-go--git
==> Checking out branch master
==> Patching
patching file ethcrypto/mnemonic.go
Hunk #1 FAILED at 3.
1 out of 1 hunk FAILED -- saving rejects to file ethcrypto/mnemonic.go.rej
Error: Applying DATA patch failed

Can someone identify the cause of the problem? (OSX 10.9.4)
