I'm as surprised as you, needs more investigation. It wasn't very stable, every single other card started failing with the OC but that one card was mining happily.
There might be instances of these 580s that are able to handle higher load, or I might have just got super lucky with one. I don't think it's a super lucky number personally, a few MHs yeah but 18 extra? Something doesn't add up.
Like I say, more testing tonight. Gonna pull the card out the rig and put it into my test build.
Is there any article that teaches the logics for changing straps? I'm a newbie and still don't know how to do it, and I'm just using auto button from Polaris. Thanks.
Theoretically impossible. For each Hash the Ethash algo does 64 times a random 64bytes read in DAG memory = 64x64=8192 bytes , The memory band (not overclocked ) is 256GB, so the max hashrate is 256GB / 8192bytes = 31.2 Mhash.

I am getting 31.6 mh/s with 8GB RX580 cards and upto 32.5 mh/s with 8GB 1070 ti cards. How does that work?
It was "doing it" as you can tell I ran for 16hours there.. no errors.. no rejected. I would maybe blame a input from the software being manipulated with other settings but Infact running 32mhs resulted in more shares per hour per card vs this maxed out 58mhs so I stopped playing this other hopeful settings.

Restore factory mem setting and tell me how does it works.
I was messing around last year on some 580s and was getting 57mhs max but its not effective, didnt even post about it haha
thats only 53 shares and hour avg 100Mh+ should get closer to 100 per hour on that pool usually more like 80-90 so yea no wonder why u got more shares per hour at 32Mh each i used to get crazy high hashrates with ethminer too they just wernt consistent

Ethminer, prior to submit a share, check it's consistency (recalculate it using cpu).

Damn!
