Is there a way to run alethzero/eth through a socks proxy or without publicIP/port mapping?

It should work without, but try running them with --upnp off.

    Maybe --public-ip

    Hope that helps!

It doesn't work; I'm not able to show the port used by ethereum visibile from outside, then all peers reject my connection :S (I think)
Even bitcoin-core can't sync without a socks proxy in this network...

Are you unable to make outbound connections?

We'll add a way to specify publicly advertised port and will look into support for socks5. Feel free to open an issue on github and I'll reply there when the code is in. Not sure how soon socks5 support would go in.

    Nope..
    inbound allowed ports: none
    outbound allowed ports: 80, 8080, 443

Ok, I'm going to open a github ticket; I would code this feature by myself but I've no much time at the moment. Thank you for the hint
