  hi i am not really an expert, but ill try to help on what i can
  
  --- thats an impressive motherboard, and i think is overkill. idk what its Price its, but i think u can get a cheaper one. of course if thats the only one you can get, its ok.
  
  ---i can be wrong in here, but the difference between rx 470 and rx 480 as mining gpus is usually low, like you can easily get 26.7mhs or 27 mhs on rx 470, and on rx 480 like 29mhs. of course there are situations when a rx 470 can reach 28 mhs, and rx 480 can reach 31mhs, but are not the norm. so in conclusion in this point, maybe rx 470 are a better investment, and they also consume less power. of course this is from a mining value only, a rx 480 would have a better resell value just in case.
  
  so realted to questions:
  
  1) depending on your country´s temperature, u will need riser for all gpus so they are not too close together. but if ur country is cold, you can put some gpus directly on the x16 pcie.
  remember they will be close to 100% gpu load 24/7, so if they are together too close the temp will increase.
  also rx 470 and 480 are dual slot, so putting them on pcie x16 will block the pcie x1 slots, so in that case u need a riser for the x16 too.
  so u will need x16 to x16 risers for at least the gpus that will be blocking the pcie x1 slots if put in the mobo (on pcie x16)
  also, most of the people if not all, use risers on all gpus, to put them away from the mobo for temp reasons. so id say 3of x16 to x16 and 3of x1 to x16 if u want to put them from the mobo.
  
  3) you wont need much hdd size. only to install os and the miner. also 16gb for virtual memory. (not 16gb of ram, i mean 16gb of hdd for virtual memory)
  to be honest i use normal hdd, but thats because of my Budget, i might migrate to ssd after.
  
  4) i use win10, but if u are confortable with Linux u can try it
  
  5) i use whattomine site, search it in google, and you can put there the video cards and the cost of power. of course, it will be an aproximation, but is a good starting point
  
  from all my answer, the one needing revisión might be the ssd vs hdd one. also i didnt asnwer number 2 because i dont know how good raidmax is as psu. of course if its gold, 90%, i think it can work, but idk what other with more experience in that say. like they like the big names, supernova evga, corsair, etc. but it depends on your Budget.
  
  also its another topic on rx 480 vs 470. i think it depends on Price of both. the difference of Price that is.
