After a lot of messing around, turns out memory clock is capped at 2100. Doesn't matter what tuner I use: WattTool, WattMan, TRIXX, MSI AB...
Sapphire Nitro+ RX 470 8GB Win 7 64bit Ultimate, 16.8.3 driver Claymore 7.0 dual mining 25.5 Eth + 440 Sia intensity 35 Core 1300MHz, memory @ 2100MHz Power limit +20%, no undervolting (free electricity for now) Temp 60C with 65% fan speed (fan can be heard, but not disturbing). GPU power draw fluctuates between 125W and 160W on GPU-Z. Not sure why...
Increase or decrease memory / core / power as you need.
Memory seems maxed at 2100 in both WattMan 16.8.3 and AfterBurner 4.30 Beta 14. Any suggestions?
WattTool for sure
I tried WattTool, but the memory won't overclock beyond 2100... I put in 2125 and click Set but as soon as I hit Set it goes back to 2100. Same thing with Sapphire TRIXX. Any ideas?
I can't say I've had this problem. It just accepts the value above 2100 with no issue for me. Sorry I don't know why that is happening Almost like something is setting it back afterwards. Maybe uninstall Trixx do a fresh boot.. don't open Wattman and try that.

I remember seeing a post where driver 16.7.3 allows memory OC beyond 2100. I'm tempted to try 16.7.3 to see for myself. Can you please confirm what driver version you are using to overclock your Nitro 470 8G at 2125?

How many (stable) mhs can this card achieve according to your experience?
Has anyone already OC any of them? Which one do you think is the best OC BIOS for this card?
