I'm a noob, that's for sure. So I have built a rig based on 6x MSI RX470 Nitro+ My hash rate per card is around 25 mhs Full rig power consumption: 670 -700W
Other specs:
Motherboard: Asrock pro btc CPU: Celeron 1840 lga1150
So I have read all the 32 pages and my head have just exploded.
Is there a simple way or a trick with my cards just to find the sweet spot between hash rate and power consumption, of course to lower PC and increase HR?
finally comes my 3rd sapphire oc+ rx 470 with elpida ram. i'm running 2 other rx 470 smootly to 29.5 mhs. the third one is very unstable even @ 1990 mhz ram.... i'm usig modified bios with 1500 timing trap.... that was working on other card... so difficult sot set these one.. pls help

I have the same problem with sapphire nitro oc+ rx 470 with elpida memory. It can run stably at only 1850M-memclock. So, I have changed the strategy for saving power rather than gaining hashrate. It draws about 55w/card from GPU at 1000/[email protected]

i observed in my tries some card are crashing or freezing used alone. they are pretty stable instead, if used as secondary card without Display connected. give a try (luv traps too :-))
Took the plunge with XFX RX 470 a week ago but Amazon doesn't seem to be processing my order. Decided to go for a local retailer for the local warranty coverage. I am now choosing between MSI RX 470 Gaming X 4GB and Gigabyte RX 470 G1 Gaming 4GB. Any advice on which is a better option?

I got it about a month ago from also amazon. (co.jp)
i have MSI rx470 8gb Micron memory (attached)
Any help would be great!
editing the 1625 straps to 1750 / 1875 and 2000 timings wont boot unfortunatly, maybe im just unlucky
Did you try also to use 1750 for basic ref instead 1625?
give a try (luv traps too :-))
1750 memory straps
Coreclock 1125, memclock 2100,
Claymore solo eth: 28.5MH/s @170 watts from the wall
Claymore duo eth/dcr: 29MH/s, 710MH/s @205 watts from the wall
Temp 60 degrees on cpu with fan around 20-25%, VRM maxes out at 75 degrees.
I do get some memory errors in HWinfo, about 2 per hour. Is this an indication that I should lower memclock?
Edit: had wrong watt values and added temps
Thanks
