Hi,
I seem to be getting pretty poor performance on my single R9 390:
min/mean/max: 0/5168247/15785728 H/s
inner mean: 8613745 H/s
I'm running
ethminer.exe --opencl-device 0 --cl-global-work 16834 --cl-local-work 256 -G
with the following config:
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
SETX GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
I'm using an old 500GB HDD and disk usage is sitting at 100% during benchmark.
Could that be the problem? Any ideas what else I could try?
Additional config:
G3258, 8GB RAM, R9 390 8GB, newest drivers, Win81 64bit, eth 0.9.41.

Also... make sure you have the 15.12 drivers installed instead of the newest.. there is a lot of info out there about the latest drivers lowering hashrates. Hope this helps.
you nailed it man with the drivers version!
This is what I'm getting after downgrading to 15.12 drivers:
min/mean/max: 32113512/33243900/33543250 H/s
inner mean: 33520913 H/s
Much more in line of what I was expecting.
By the way - the new command didn't work:
ethminer.exe --farm-recheck 200 -G -F --cl-local-work 256 --cl-global-work 16384
I was getting "Invalid argument: 256" for some reason... it must be incompatible with "farm check"
Most advice I've seen says that pools are much more expensive in the long run. Do you have any views?
