Can someone explain why there are 2 implementations of the proof of concept one in Go-lang and the other in C++? Does the roadmap have both implementations?
I believe part of the justification is that in a scenario where all miners are equally distributed between the 3 implementations, a bug that breaks one implementation, temporarily, won't bring down the network. There's some strength in having that diversity.
I think it also allows more developers who are more comfortable with a specific language to more easily contribute.

Not sure about the roadmap, though...
