@robinminer Assuming all the pools are posting accurate statistics , you can take the pool's "blocks mined per hour" (or similar metric) and divide by the pool's hash rate to get an overall idea of how efficient the pool itself is, at that moment in time. Of course, it will vary over time due to pool "luck" (variance). A higher number is better
@dlehenky hey... thanks for the advice. I also thought about going solo. But I only have 80Mhs of mining power... sooo... it really feels like I would be not patient enough. And imagine what can happen in the next two months. Difficulty will rise a lot... and maybe even Scrypt miners can be created.
All eth related files (.ddl and .exe) are now listed as malicious and Trojan infected. Norton removed all off my main rigs. Had to restore them all and add to the manual excluded list. PITA.
Anyone compared ehtermine payouts / profitability per Mhs with dwarfpool?
I tested it last week. Be it was only for 24hours, but it was quite a bit less. Maybe bad luck, who knows, who cares. In my eyes I wasted 2ETH during the test so I went back to ethmine. Even here I get 10% less hash rate than locally shown, but more reliable than solo mining now.
Guys, I'm quite new here so excuse my newbie questions ;-)
I'm facing some low hashing rate, whenever I use qtminer (qtminer.exe -s [server:port] -u [Your_Ethereum_Address].[RigName] -G) I get around 12MH/s but when I use the benchmark command 'ethminer -G -M' I get around 35MH/s
- The Benchmarks don't tell the truth. - Nvidia cards don't perform too well for their prices. - Qtminer runs at a lower hash rate then ethminer (In my testing at least, others disagree)
@happytreefriends interresting observation, if you look at the source, besides the stratum module the mining code is identical to ethminer.
@happytreefriends I agree with @dr_pra -- there is nothing to suggest that qtminer runs any slower than ethminer (or Genoil's ethminer), other than observation, which can be completely skewed due to luck.

Hey @happytreefriends , Thanks for the share. I am actually now running a test using the @Genoil 's Ethminer (which can create separate DAG folders)... So as I can equally spread my hashpower among the two different pools. I have been running my test for 12h or so, and till now Dwarfpool seem to be a little bit more profitable. I am waiting for my 1x - 16x card to arrive so I can add new GPUS and spread my test through two other pools (SuprNova and MiningPoolHub). I will publish my results soon.
@robinminer Dwarfpool doesn't even pay fees or uncle inclusion rewards. Over a short period of time (12hr is WAAAY too short) with small hashrate, luck is too big of a factor to be able to do any comparison.
Anyone else having connection issues? I've been mining for about 2 weeks with no issues but my workers couldn't connect multiple times over the last day or so. I woke up today to once again find them not connected and not mining, when I restarted the proxy and ethminer things seem to be OK.

Otherwise ethermine seems better, to me at least. Solo is always an option too.

I have 2 x EVGA GTX 970 OC cards.
What am I missing here?
Thanks!

I guess I could re-test it, but I'm lazy to learn another miner's command line options.
To verify your input enter the public IP address of one of your active workers:
Then copy/paste Your IP Address to ethermine.org's form.
Trying to use proxy but the command line;
./ethminer --farm-recheck 200 -G -F http://127.0.0.1:8080/rig1
***doesnt work***
Any suggestions???
