Eth does not run - Windows 7

Hi everyone,
I installed Aleth v1.2.1 on my Win7 64 machine, and I am successfully pool mining. However I want access to the console so I can check my balance & send the ether to different wallets. When I run eth with various commands from cmd, I get:

Microsoft Windows [Version 6.1.7601]
Copyright (c) 2009 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

C:\Program Files\Ethereum>eth --json-rpc
(++)Ethereum
^C

C:\Program Files\Ethereum>eth -j --json-rpc-port 8079
(++)Ethereum
^C
C:\Program Files\Ethereum>eth -j
(++)Ethereum

And it just hangs here. I get no further output. Does anyone have any suggestions on what's happening here? Is there another way I can make a transaction to another wallet? I'm trying to deposit mined coins into my Kraken accont.

Thanks,
--Varun
