Geth/Eth: handshake failed: Genesis block mismatch

Hey, whatever I do with geth or eth, I'm always getting this error:

handshake failed: Genesis block mismatch - fd4af92a79c7fc2fd8bf0d342f2e832e1d4f485c85b9152d2039e03bc604fdca (!= d4e56740f876aef8c010b86a40d5f56745a118d0906a34e69aec8c0db1cb8fa3)

I thought maybe it was just a weird message and had my machine mine all night but it hasn't mined a single block over the night.
I've confirmed the md5 of my genesis block json (c38f29a886718bfee710fb1e461934ae) and I'm running geth 1.0.0.

I've tried both CPU and GPU mining, none seems to work.

What does that message mean, what am I doing wrong?

Cheers,
Benedikt

Addendum, when I do GPU mining, etherminer says:
    "Got work package:
    miner 11:57:13| Header-hash: 6afe32e2a33d1b0cccd170be52117739b696173c164247dd538e84ceb8f92264
    miner 11:57:13| Seedhash: 0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
    miner 11:57:13| Target: 0000000001ced90ba4fabaebb66e2c14dfb06293795a6b0bb1ffe21f188706d6
    ℹ 11:57:13|gpuminer0 workLoop 1 #00000000… #00000000…"

    Workloop is always 1 #00000..

    I'm starting geth link this:
    geth --genesis ./blockfile.json
    (exit)
    geth account new
    (exit)
    geth --mine --verbosity="5"

Do I need to set any other flags?
