@greatauror28 I've found this is usually caused by one card being pushed too hard - it then causes instability among the others. Try decreasing the -decri and reducing clock speeds for all cards until they are even. The wind them back up
Thanks for your suggestion. However, i just find it weird because i've been using the other 2 gpus for couple weeks now and they are hashing a constant 29.9. When I added 4 new ones (of the same exact brand/memory) two of them hashes only 24.4 so I think we can rule out that I've pushed them too hard.
I also don't have memory errors, even 0 so I'd say they're pretty stable.
Right now it's 16C outside and probably the ambient temp inside my apartment is around 25C. All cards are 69C and having a fan of around 60-70%.
Ok.. gtx 1060 6gb gives me 23Mh/s on stock with boost with afterburner. Set mem clock to +800 Got win10 pro 64bit.. ASRock z97 anniversary mobo.
More tweaking possible to get it up?
nice to know which gtx 1060 you have
But 800 Clock is near to the absolut limit. The highest what i have test stable was +900 Memclock.
My little trick is, 1060GTX = (MSI Afterburner) 4608 MHz in Memclock.
Got the MSI geforce GTX 1060 6Gb OC V1 Armor (very much like the black and white fan shield) Payed 299€ for them each. Setting in afterburner Core clock 0 Mem clock +850
Mining 1 week and 0 rejected shares. Hashing 23.5Mh/s all of them. Checking with GPU-Z and they got samsung memory

@greatauror28 I have the same card w Samsung memory. When you did the bios mod do all of your timing show up as 0: instead of 1: and 2: ?? I tried to copy 0:1750 to 0:2000 but dropped my hasrate way down to 4 mhs. Also dropped my other card down to 4 mhs which has me kind of baffled. Any input would be much appreciated!

I can't recall in the Polaris Editor if they are indeed 0:1750/0:2000 or 1:1750/1:2000. What i'm sure of is that there's only one set of the straps.
I have the 8gb Asus Dual OC Rx580 anyway (if that's not pointed out earlier).
What are you hashing out-of-box anyway? Weird because mine hashes 24 stock then copying 1750 to 2000 gives me 27.5. After OC I was able to hit 29.5 4 DAGs earlier.
Hi all! my first post on this forum. I have read that 7970 card has to little memory and that's why it works at half power. But i can report that the 7970 I have mines at 23 MH/s with 2200MB of used memory. DAG #139
@Samsan 74°C with 78% fan ? That's really hot, you should be careful. I have a 1070 in my desktop computer, it goes up to 33MH and remains around 50°C. Do you have hynix memory?
I'm sure with lower undervolt and lower -dcri value, you could get around 120w gpu-z power draw which is about 160w at the wall, per card.
HI, Voltage is set to -100 in MSI afterburner 16 beta. I tried to lower the drci value ( from 28 to 20), but according to gpu-z only the first card got affected by this change - the power usage dropped from ~150w to 125w, but the other 5 cards continued to use ~150w.
Safe 36.4 MH/s with Vega Frontier new blockchain driver at 1500 core 1080 mem, not stable at 41 but could probably get a bit more with further tweaking
No idea, I have 3 vega's to get running, as long as my electric bill is reasonable not really bothered, I intend to hold ether for next few years so what ever cost now I anticipate will be covered by ether price (i bought ether for speculation as well)

Fair enough.
Reason i'm asking is that in the Vega thread, I think nobody can do >34Mhs without pulling <250w at the wall. If that's the case, you'd keep mining with Vega if you don't pay for power.
Or you know, you really just love having Vega despite it being the opposite of the glorious pre-launch speculations and ad.

33 MHs is awesome, 18 for the 1050 also great.
Cheers

Do you think is possible to improve? I don't have access to windows on this computer
