Want to get started with Ethereum, but no sure which implementation Geth or Parity?

Intended use as a hot wallet in our crypto-exchange. Someone compared parity vs geth and parity had sometimes problems being synced up to date, but did not require so much resources. Any thoughts or recommendation?
