How many wallets does one person need?

Hello,

I've been recently running some testing with a 6 GPU rig v.s. Buying hashing power on nicehash.

When I first started with the 6 GPU rig I created a free wallet at freewallet.org so I could start mining pool-usa.ethosdistro.com with the new rig.

Then a few days later I could not see how to get funds into nicehash from freewallet.org or into freewallet.org to start with. So to get some funds into nicehash I created a coinbase account. It looks like coinbase also provides wallet services etc.

Currently freewallet is assigned to pool-usa.ethosdistro.com. I think I need to keep this until I hit the 0.2 payout before making any changes. since this pool is mining direct to wallet with no account or user settings. So I have change my proxywallet I'll lose my mining process.

I have nicehash pointed to miningpoolhub pointed to coinbase wallet.

Is there any advantage to having more than one wallet like this?

It seems like coinebase would be the convenient choice one wallet is best since it can take in fiat currency buy/sell/store cryptocurrency.

Any thoughts on this? I'm kind of green and still trying to figure things out.

Thanks,
Mike
