I tried 1500 straps but only gained 0.3 Mh/s. Not sure if that's because I accidentally flashed the main BIOS instead of the silent one (which I'm having trouble un-doing atm... any tips?)
did you copied the 1:1500 or the 2:1500 ? If you did the 2:1500, and and do 1150/2100, it should be something between 27 - 29 mhs. I could share my BIOS file with you if you wanna.
Hi @bdon22 how was the rom shared by @kn0xvill3 ? will try to give this a shot tonight.. i am also having the same card Sapphire Nitro+ rx 570 4gb hynix, however, i could only squeeze 26 as of now...

Hi @bdon22, did you ever have any luck with these BIOS roms? Or getting your card back to normal? I picked up the same GPU used and I think someone also flashed over both the silent and the OC bios. I can mine using the stock BIOS but only at 23 mhs. But in Polaris Bios Editor, the timings labels are all messed up. They aren't "2:1750" etc they are this long random number, so I don't know which straps are which.
Also with the custom BIOS here, I can mine at 27.x MH/s for about a minute, then it drops to zero. Every time.
Just wondering if you got a solution for your 570 hynix. it might work for me also. Thanks!
Everything I've seen so far is either Nitro 8GB or Pulse 4GB.
If you find a modded bios for another Hynix RX 570 card, which gets decent results for their card, you can use the timings from that bios. The timings are memory specific... not brand specific.
@blackice is this even when I am logged into the machine locally, monitor on DVI cable? I actively witness the drop from 27 to zero, then claymore restarts (to no avail). Although I do have another rig with 1070's and their hashrate fluctuates from 30 down to 20 randomly, but when I am logged in, they stay at 30. I will definitely try these dummy plugs for that rig. Thank you.
@suthek, noob question - generally speaking, if my card gets unstable using the 1500 straps (hynix) should I try lower or higher straps? I am guessing lower. maybe try 1425 next? then change the afterburner settings accordingly lower? thx...

@blackice Thanks, I will try that dummy plug. Just to clarify, the drop to 0 hash happens while logged in locally with a monitor plugged into the card. Would that make a difference? Is this plug to avoid some type of powersave mode? I've seen this happen on a gtx 1070 rig, where hashrate fluctuates while logged out, but as soon as log in they all go up to normal. Also let me know if that modded ROM works better than any of the free ones on here or anorak.tech.

#1, don't go lower than 1750. definitely not 1500. #2 If you have hynix ram, don't use your own straps... that's going to get horrible results. #3 find a hynix ram posted modded bios... grab the straps from that modded bios... *ANY CARD... I think it needs to be RX 570 if you're modding an RX 570... and 4GB if you're 4GB but other than that it's fair game.*
Side note, You literally quoted me saying exactly what you should do... (#3) and then asked why you're failing at life doing the opposite of what I said to do.
I have attached both custom and original ROM files, in case you don't have it.
Just wanted to say thanks man! I copied over most settings from your ROM file and was able to get 29.5-30Mh/s ETH + 740-760Mh/s DCR pulling around 99W on GPU-Z. Very impressed with this RX 570 4GB!
Did you guys have any issues with these 570s. I found it odd the Asus 570 4gb strix oc had no mem cooler. The heat sink only touches the gpu. With mod bios and increased oc I just feared the worst over time on the 570. Not sure if the other 570s versions had in terms of heat sinks/pads to help cool ddr5?

its a usual problem if you use integrated gpu
